The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 9/9/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Nataly’s Restaurant was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 14 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

Multiple food items in prep unit observed with internal temperatures greater than 41F: shredded cheese; grated cheese; sliced ham. All items moved to properly-functioning refrigerator for cooling.

Rodent-like droppings observed throughout kitchen. Facility has 10 business days to provide proof of next professional pest control treatment to MCOPH.

Light and air space at bottom/side of exterior rear door.

Front door propped open upon arrival.

Window open in mop closet. Window lacking insect screen.

Scoop handled observed in contact with food item in dry goods container.

2 times repeat violation: Tongs stored on oven door handle along cooks line.

In-use utensils stored in stagnant water in between uses.

Bowl/cup used as scoop stored obtain dry goods/food items.

Rust build-up on racks in prep unit.

Rust build-up on multiple metal shelves in kitchen.

Prep unit measuring 48F. Facility may not use unit until it is holding at or below 41F.

Restroom door lacking self-closing mechanism for women’s restroom.

Mop not stored hanging or inverted to dry.
