The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 6/3/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Acme Market was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Employee observed not wearing mask in a food prep area. All employees must wear masks at all times due to Governor’s COVID red phase orders.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 06/03/2020  
  • Spray nozzles in produce have mold buildup. Detail clean and sanitize regularly.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 06/03/2020  
  • Deli cold hold island is not holding foods away a safe temperture. Time/temperature control for safety (TCS) food must be cold held at or below 41ºF.

    Ensure products are at 41°F or below prior to placing in case. Place items in an organized manor that ensures a safe temperature (within load limits, not blocking air flow, within the provided metal pan).

    These items were discarded or moved to the walkin to recover.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 06/03/2020
