The Allegheny County Health Department conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 1/21/21 at Bee’z Bistro & Pub. During this inspection a total of 4 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Deflector plate in large ice machine near walk in cooler has pink mold-like substance accumulating.
- Deli slicer has been thoroughly cleaned.
- All certified food protection manager certificates have recently expired. Owner stated that the chefs will obtain theirs again shortly.
- Both vent hoods along the cook-line have a heavy build-up of grease. Owner stated that they will be cleaned within the next couple of weeks.
- Health permit not posted for the public. Owner stated that he will be reaching out to the fee and permit office to replace his permit.
