The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 2/20/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Celebration Caterers was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 8 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • There is no food safety manager certified by this Department (CFSM) on duty as required. A CFSM must be on duty at all times the facility is open and/or food is being prepared. A completed application(SA-71)for CFSM, or proof of enrollment in an approved safety class must be submitted to the Department.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 02/26/2020
  • The soda guns at the bars have a build inside of them. Clean and sanitize all soda guns and their holsters.  Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 02/20/2020
  • The automatic dish machine is not reaching the required wash temperature. The minimum wash temperature for the machine is 150°F.
    All wares must be cleaned at the three compartment sink or chemical dish machine next to banquet halls until the main dish machine is working. Send a copy of the service report to this department.  Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 02/21/2020
  • Rodent droppings observed under the clean wares shelving. The droppings must be cleaned up and premises monitored daily for pest activity. The back exit door near the bakery electrical room has air gaps providing entry for pests. Seal off these gaps with door sweeps so the door is tight fitting.  Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 02/21/2020
  • Observed rodent bait scattered under areas on the kitchen floor. Poison rodent bait must be in a protected bait station. Additionally, both bars have unapproved dichlorvos pest strips hanging. These must be removed and discontinue future use inside the facility.  Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 02/20/2020
  • Food workers are not wearing hair restraints as required.
    Employees shall wear hair restraints such as hats, hair coverings or nets, that are effectively designed and worn to keep their hair from contacting exposed food; clean equipment, utensils and linens; and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.  Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 02/20/2020
  • The hot water at the small bar is shut off. A new water heater is to be installed. Do not use this bar until hot water is provided. Send a copy of the service report to this department.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 02/27/2020
  • Wall tiles and base tiles behind the dish machine and in beverage halls off banquet rooms have fallen off the wall. The tiles must be properly installed on the walls.  Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 03/26/2020
