The Allegheny County Health Department conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 1/27/21 at the BP Connect Subway. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Lunch meats found on the subway prep cooler at 46 F. Shredded lettuce found on same unit at 44F.
- Subway sandwich prep cooler is not holding products at safe temperature.
- Quaternary sanitizer dispenser is now working but facility lacks test strips to measure concentration.
