An additional follow up inspection in 1-2 weeks. Failure to correct the above violations within the specified timeframes may result in a $350 follow up inspection fine,
CLOSURE and/or other legal action.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Roach activity is still present in facility, mostly along the mainline hood area. Today, live and dead roaches of various life cycles were observed in multiple pest traps but were not seen crawling around. Most recent pest control report noted that roach activity is continuing despite the on-going treatments. Facility must take more aggressive measures to control, reduce and eliminate roaches. Complete/continue the following: * Certified pest control operator & Teikoku must submit a NEW ACTION PLAN to sufficiently and aggressively address roach activity * Pest control services must continue weekly. Submit copies of pest reports to Department PROMPTLY after service. * Maintain facility surfaces, plumbing and food service equipment in clean condition and good repair * Inspect incoming shipments for vectors * Keep all foods covered in storage * Eliminate standing water and other vector harborage conditions. * Keep exterior openings closed and tightly sealed * Remove any/all roaches (if found) and disinfect the affected area. * Follow pest control operators instructions for cleaning the treated areas and not disturbing the glue boards.
