The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 6/30/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Barnes and Noble was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 2 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
There is no food safety manager certified by this Department (CFSM) on duty as required. A CFSM must be on duty at all times the facility is open and/or food is being prepared. A completed application (SA-71)for CFSM, or proof of enrollment in an approved safety class must be submitted to the Department. Repeat Violation. |
Dead oriental cockroach found on the floor below the 3-compartment sink. Remove and discard roach. Clean and sanitize affected area. Contact facility’s exterminator for additional monitoring and/or treatment. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 06/30/2020 |
