The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on January 6, 2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Dunkin Donuts in East Norriton Township was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 7 violations were found.
The inspector stated in the report:
Facility was open at time of inspection, facility found operating without hot running water at sinks throughout facility. Possible legal action may occur. Facility ceased operations and voluntarily closed.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Lacking hot water at hand sinks throughout facility.
- Use single service lids stored with food contact surfaces exposed COS (corrected on-site)
- Back room hand sink hot water valve turned off. (repeat violation) COS
- Facility lacking hot running water throughout facility at sinks.
- Men’s public rest room self-closing door mechanism not working properly(2 times repeat violation)
- Few ceiling tiles missing in back hallway by public rest rooms
- Dust build up on ceiling vents throughout and in women’s public rest room
