The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 3/5/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations 7 Eleven was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 4 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • There is no food safety manager certified by this Department (CFSM) on duty as required. A CFSM must be on duty at all times the facility is open and/or food is being prepared. A completed application(SA-71)for CFSM, or proof of enrollment in an approved safety class must be submitted to the Department. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 03/13/2020
  • The interior of the ice chute at the soda station is unclean with slim build up. Clean and maintain daily. Employee began cleaning immediately. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
  • There is only 1 properly working drain plug for the 3 compartment sink. Provide at least 2 working drain plugs. This must be corrected within 24 hours. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 03/06/2020
  • The hot water is only reaching 108F. Adjust to ensure the hot water is at 110F or above. This must be fixed within 24 hours. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 03/06/2020
