The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 8/3/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Flip ‘N Shakes was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 5 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
Upon arrival the front hand sink had cups stored in it. Do not store items in the hand wash sink. These were removed. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. |

Observed two live oriental cockroaches at the establishment during this inspection. One was in the mop bucket and another was on the floor in the back near the mop sink. Contact certified exterminator immediately to address issue. This must be addressed within 24 hours. Submit a copy of the service report to this Department. New Violation. The floors in the back need to be cleaned especially by the mop sink. Remove equipment and provide a deep and detailed cleaning. The floor where the soda boxes are located are unclean. Clean and maintain. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/03/2020 |
