The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/21/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Roti Junction was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
Employee observed with inside-out gloves, ready to turn them back and reuse. Gloves are single use only. Always wash hands before putting on new gloves, which should occur while changing between tasks. New Violation. |
Food in the hot holding unit is not at safe temperature. Hot food must be held at 135°F or above. The affected items were discarded at 2:30, four hours after preparation. It appeared that unit was off but it was stated that it was a function of “auto off” feature. This unit should be monitored so that its settings are understood and can be set to maintain temperature of hot time/temperature controlled for safety (TCS) foods at 135 °F or higher. If temperature cannot be maintained, a four hour hold time must be used, then items must be discarded. |
