The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 8/11/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations 7-Eleven was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 4 violations were found. The inspector also noted, “Employee observed wearing mask with mouth and nose exposed.”

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

The exterior and bottom of the soda dispenser ice chute contains a pink, mold-like accumulation.
Detail clean and sanitize affected areas prior to making dispenser available for customer self-service.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/11/2020
Rodent droppings were found in the soda syrup closet.
Remove droppings and clean and sanitize affected areas.
Contact facility’s exterminator for additional monitoring and/or treatment.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/11/2020
Individual, unwrapped coffee cup lids are available for self-service use at the coffee station.
Single-service and single-use articles and cleaned and sanitized utensils shall be handled, displayed and dispensed so that contamination of food- and lip-contact surfaces is prevented.
Per CFSM, cup and lid will be dispensed to customer at time of hot beverage purchase.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/11/2020
Section of wall covering in the walk-in cooler has been removed, exposing metal, wood and drywall.
Repair hole to provide a surface which is smooth, easily cleanable and non-absorbent.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/25/2020
