Mulenberg Township conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 8/12/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Dunkin’ Donuts was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 4 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

Ice machine has an accumulation of mold- like build up on the inside.
Must provide a deep and detailed cleaning, sanitize and maintain.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/13/2020  
Prep unit is holding an ambient temperature of 50F. Internal temperatures of products in this unit are between 48-50F. All Time/Temperature Control for Safety (TCS) foods must be cold held at 41F or below. Discontinue use of this unit, discard all TCS foods and repair to hold 41F.  Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/13/2020  
Facility has several items sitting out of temperature control.
Milk-60F, and fruit drink mixes that state “Refrigerate After Opening” on the label. Must follow manufacture label for handling.
These items were discarded. Discontinue allowing the products to sit out of temperature control.  Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/13/2020  
Food workers are not wearing hair restraints as required.
Employees shall wear hair restraints such as hats, hair coverings or nets, that are effectively designed and worn to keep their hair from contacting exposed food; clean equipment, utensils and linens; and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/13/2020  
Dumpster lids were open during inspection. There was a significant amount of construction debris and garbage in the dumpster enclosure.
All dumpster lids must be kept closed at all times. The garbage and debris must be removed from this area and kept clean at all times.
This violation had been noted several times with no significant measures taken to clean up this area.
A compliance inspection will be conducted and a new license will not be recommended until this violation has been addressed.  Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/12/2020
