The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 6/26/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 5 violations were found and include one or more violations determined to be food borne illness risk factors.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

Facility lacking a Certified Food Sanitation Manager (CFSM) issued by Montgomery County Office of Public Health (MCOPH). Current certificate has expired. Facility must submit application and payment OR proof of registration in an approved course with in 30 days. Due 7-26-20. EHS left copy of reciprocity application and fee schedule.

Wisk hung in splash area of hand sink.

Grinder base and food packaged stored direct adjacent to hand sink without a splash guard. Moved.

Cutting board in storage at ware washing with knicks grooves and staining.

Broken clear bin at cooks line, not smooth non-porous and easily cleaned. Voluntarily discarded.
