The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/1/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Jerzee’s Sports Bar & Pizzaria was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 6 violations were found and include one or more violations determined to be food borne illness risk factors.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

Expired milk gallon in two-door refrigerator, facility voluntarily discarded about 2 cups.

Employee food and beverages stored over food for retail sale.

Thermometer in 1 door refrigerator in office space with defective thermometer.

Scraper stored in crevice between freezer and pizza prep table.

Cooks marker stored in container with tooth picks.

Door handler on salad dressing refrig with tape on handle.
