The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 8/14/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations M2O Burgers & Salads was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 10 violations were found and include one or more violations determined to be food borne illness risk factors.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Expired license posted(facility was emailed invoice) facility has 10 days to submit payment

  • Expired MCOPH CFSM certificate. facility has 30 days to submit paper work

  • Raw eggs over beef

  • Rodent-like droppings observed in facility. Facility has 10 business days to provide proof of next professional pest control treatment to MCOPH

  • Fly strip hanging in basement. Facility has 10 business to submit PCO report

  • Door gasket on walk-in refrigerator unclean

  • No water under pressure basement employee restroom(must repair immediately)

  • Stained ceiling tiles/unapproved ceiling tiles basement

  • Lacking light shield or shatterproof bulb basement

  • Filters above cook line equipment unclean
