Lews Dockside Pub & Seafood Take Out Shoppe
The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 2/11/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Lews Dockside Pub & Seafood Take Out Shoppe in Glenside was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 10 violations were found and include one or more violations determined to be food borne illness risk factors.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

Expired license posted. Find and post valid license or apply for duplicate.

Lacking paper towels at left side hand sink.

Mold like accumulation on interior white divider of ice machine. Cleaned and sanitized.

Facility vacuum packing open loaves of lunch meats without adequate date marking to maintain 48hr exemption.

Chest freezer lid damaged with inside liner falling down, insulation exposed.

Absorbent linen used to line ware storage cart.

Door gasket torn on grill food prep refrigerator

Under side of refrigeration door handles with accumulation.

Men’s restroom door not self-closing, mechanism present but needs adjusting or replacement.

Section of floor at bar damaged with wood sub floor exposed. Repair.
