The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on January 9, 2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Paris Grill in Aliquippa was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 4 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Observed a build up of old food debris inside the plastic bins on the lower shelf of the kitchen wooden prep. table. Dust build up on the fan cover inside the Jordon drink cooler. Grease build up on the kitchen bottom shelf next to the deep fryer.
- Kitchen ceiling paint is peeling above the Gyro machine area.
- Observed dark debris on the plastic parts inside the top section of the ice machine.
- Mounted bench style can opener has a build up of old debris. Can opener soaked/cleaned at this inspection. Corrected.
- Soap was not available at the men’s restroom hand wash sink. Soap will be supplied today. Corrected.
