The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 8/27/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Porterhouse Restaurant & Brew Pub was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 2 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
Food employee was using a towel as a food contact surface. All food contact surfaces must be smooth, easily cleanable and non-porous. Discontinue using towels as a surface and use a smooth surface instead. Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/27/2020 |
Chemical buckets for the dish machine are being reused as food storage containers. These containers are only for chemicals and may not be used for food storage. Remove and replace with food grade containers. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/27/2020 |
