The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture  conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on DATE. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Ruff Creek Market in Greensburg was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 2 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

• Food facility inspection indicates evidence of rodent activity in cabinets under coffee display area, as observed by 5 rodent like droppings in the cabinet. Clean and sanitize area. Facility does have a pest control program, Advise PCO to monitor this area.
• A utility sink or curbed cleaning facility with hot and cold plumbed running water and a floor drain is not provided in the food facility. At least one utility sink or one curbed cleaning facility equipped with hot and cold plumbed running water and a floor drain shall be provided and conveniently located for the cleaning of mops or similar wet floor cleaning tools and for the disposal of mop water and similar liquid waste. Facility has 14 days to install a utility sink. This is a repeat violation 1/14/19
