The Chester County Health Department conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 6/15/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Bravo Pizza was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 6 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- In the walk-in refrigerator, raw chicken observed stored above ready to eat foods. Relocate immediately and maintain all foods properly arranged in the refrigerated units.
- The exterior doors of the facility were both propped open. This does not protect against the entry of inspects, rodents and other animals. Close immediately and maintain closed. Tight-fitting screen doors can be used also.
- Foods prepared in the facility including cooked pasta observed undated. Foods prepared in the facility that are temperature controlled for safety must be date marked.
- The faucets of the three compartment sink and the prep sink are leaking.
- Deli slicer observed in unclean condition with food debris on it from previous day’s use. Slicer must be cleaned immediately. Also, slicer must be cleaned immediately after use.
- Remove the unused microwave (currently under the cold holding unit in the front service area) from the facility.
