The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on January 10, 2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the NAME was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 8 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Employee beverage stored on food prep surface.

  • Lacking single service towels for hand sink.

  • Spray bottle not labeled

  • Provide visible thermometer for all cold units

  • Rodent-like droppings under front counter of facility. Facility has 10 business days to provide proof of next professional pest control treatment to MCOPH

  • Food handler lacking hair/beard restraint(3 times repeat violation)

  • Tongs stored on oven handle(3 times repeat violation)

  • Knives stored in between equipment

  • Dust build-up ceiling vent above cold unit

  • Food prep sink not secured to wall

  • Lacking light shield or shatterproof bulb(4 times repeat violation)
