The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 8/5/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Hong Kong Star Noodle House was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 4 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

Not all employees were properly wearing masks as per orders from the Governor and Secretary of Health of the state of PA due to Coronavirus.
All employees must fully wear masks over nose and mouth at all times.  New Violation.
Dumplings were left out to cool uncovered and close a closet containing chemicals and tools.
Food items must always be covered and placed to prevent contamination.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
Garlic in oil and cooked broccoli kept out at room temperature with no evidence of marking for disposal within 4 hours. All time/temperature controlled for safety (TCS) foods must either be kept below 41 °F be marked for disposal within four hours of preparation. Manager marked items for disposal.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
Mouse droppings were present under equipment. Monthly pest control records present and indicate last treatment occured yesterday.
Notify pest control company of findings and treat accordingly. Clean and sanitize affected areas.  New Violation.
