The Allegheny County Health Department conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 1/26/21 at the LaBella Bean Coffee House & Eatery. During this inspection a total of 2 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- There is biofilm forming on the right side of the ice machine in the back storage room. The ice needs to be dumped and the unit needs to be disinfected and sanitized. Be sure to maintain the ice machine.
- 2 spray bottles full of solutions were found with no labels. Be sure to label all spray bottles with the name of their contents to avoid confusion and/or accidents. The bottles were labeled during the inspection.
