The Allegheny County Health Department conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 1/28/21 at the Subway in Crafton. During this inspection a total of 3violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Deflector in soda machine ice chute is accumulating a mold-like substance.
- No certified food protection manager on premises during inspection.
- Box of tomatoes stored on the floor near the 3-bowl sink. Boxes of tortillas stored on the floor in the walk-in freezer.
- Handles of utensils along assembly line are in contact with food.
