The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 6/5/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Darby O’Gills was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Interior baffle within the ice machine contains a black, mold-like substance. Detail clean and sanitize interior surfaces. CFSM addressed during inspection. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
- Cheese (46°F) and uncooked bacon (45°F) in the walk-in cooler were measured above range for cold-holding temperature. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 06/05/2020
- odent droppings were found in the shelving of the liquor closet.
Clean droppings and sanitize affected areas.
Contact facility’s exterminator for additional monitoring and/or treatment. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 06/05/2020 - Some wall panels in the basement keg cooler are not properly secured. Repair to provide a smooth, cleanable, non-absorbent surface. Maintain cleanliness of fan covers in basement keg cooler.
