The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 8/14/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations DaVinci’s Pub was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 5 violations were found and include one or more violations determined to be food borne illness risk factors.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Kitchen dish machine showing no level of sanitizer. Do not use until repaired and sanitizing at 50-100ppm. Facility set up 3 bay sink with chlorine at proper concentration.

  • 2 door cooler temped above 41F. Foods on top and inside temped at 46F. All foods moved to walk-in cooler. Do not use until repaired and holding at 41F or below. Send copy of work repair receipt.

  • Meat thawing in still water.

  • Fly-like insects observed at main bar.

  • Improper scoop stored in sauce. Facility removed. Ensure scoops have handles and are stored so handles are not in contact with food.
