The City of Easton Bureau of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/14/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Dunkin’ Donuts was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 9 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Food was held at 46°F, in the refrigerated prep unit, rather than 41°F or below as required. Discard all time/temperature for safety food stored in this unit. Food was discarded.
  • The fixtures in both restroom requires cleaning. Clean and sanitize the fixtures.
  • The ice machine is damaged inside and a rusty screw was used to try to repair it. Remove the screw and repair this machine using the correct tools and screws.
  • Rust was observed on a screw and on the wall inside the ice machine. Clean the machine to remove the rust.
  • The food manager’s certification, posted in this facility, belongs to a person who is no longer employed by this establishment. Remove the certification from the wall.
  • The Person in Charge does not have adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection.
  • Food was stored open with no covering in the walk-in freezer. Cover all food immediately and at all times during storage.
  • The refrigerated prep unit is not capable of maintaining food temperatures at or below 41F as required. Repair or replace this unit.
  • There is a large accumulation of frost on the wall of the walk-in freezer. Remove the frost.
