267-388-1797The Chester County Health Department conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on January 31, 2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Dunkin’ Donuts in East Bradford was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 5 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Observed wet wiping cloths in the prep area, not being stored in sanitizer solution. This was explained and corrected on site. Comply every day.
- Repair the non-working light fixture in the walk in freezer. Correct within 7 days.
- Clean the following: a) Walk In Refrigerator shelving and the floor. b) Both refrigerated prep tables-the gaskets of all doors and the inside bottom of the refrigerators. c) The wall behind the bagel toaster. d) The floor under all equipment out front-especially at the floor/wall junctures. e) A general clean out of un-used items is needed in the back room. Correct the above within 7 days.
- The interior of the ice machine must be cleaned and sanitized. A tanish slime and black spots of mold were found on the top of the drop plate inside. Correct within 24 hours and maintain this unit in a clean and sanitized condition every day.
- The hot water heater is fluctuating between 70°F-130°F. Have this unit serviced immediately to supply a constant supply of hot water at a temperature of at least 110°F.
