Glenside Domino’s dinged 5 times for not posting, “Inspections available upon request,” Health Department to consider citation

The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on January 13, 2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Domino’s Pizza in Glenside was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 6 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • (5 times repeat violation)Sign stating inspection reports available upon request not posted in public view. Sign emailed to facility during inspection. It will be discussed with supervisor possible citation due to repeat non-compliance.

  • Food license not available in facility at time of inspection. Facility must locate current license and post in public view or request a duplicate copy from MCOPH.

  • CFSM certificate not posted in public view.

  • Absorbent sponge observed at 3 compartment sink.

  • Front prep area hand sink not caulked to the wall.

  • (2 times repeat violation )Gap/crack in caulk at rest room hand sink. Failure to correct and maintain multiple repeat violations may result in further legal action.
