The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 3/10/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Council Rock High School South Kitchen was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Employee drinks that are opened are being stored in refrigerators where food is being stored. Do not store employee drinks in areas that can potentially contaminate food, wares, or food contact surfaces. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 03/10/2020
- Upon arrival the one hand sink was not getting hot enough water. Another hand sink was not operating at all. Maintenance was on site and repaired both hand sinks. They are now fully functioning. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
- Apples and open bowl of chips are sitting out with no sneeze guard protection. These items must be covered to prevent contamination. The chips and apples were removed. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
