The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 8/24/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Northampton Valley Country Club  was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 4 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

The mechanical dishwasher at the bar is not providing any chlorine residual. Contact service company to address issue. The chlorine should be at about 50ppm. Submit copy of service report to this Department. For now, use the 3 compartment sink at the bar to wash, rinse and sanitize wares.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/24/2020  
Hot dogs on the hot dog roller that were supposed to be fully cooked were not at a safe temperature. Hot food must be held at 135°F or above. These were reheated and are now at a safe temperature.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.  
Chicken, deli meat, and other time temperature control for safety foods in the walk in cooler at the golf course side is not at a safe temperature. Contact service company to ensure foods are kept at 41°F or below. Submit copy of service report to this Department. The foods were being moved to the beer walk in cooler that was holding safely.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/24/2020  
There were several ants at the one bar at the crystal ballroom. Contact certified exterminator to treat issue. Provide copy of service report to this Department. Have staff clean and sanitize all areas of the bar.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 08/25/2020
