The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/28/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Big Dogs was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of7 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Cut vegetables, deli cheese, and pizza in upright 2 door cooler do not have discard dates. No foods >7 days old.
  • There is an accumulation of a reddish material on the bottom of the deflector plate in the ice machine in the kitchen.
  • Stored spatulas on the table closest to the door near the room with the ice machine, are stored with the food contact surfaces pointed upward.
  • Aluminum foil is lining the shelf next to the three bowl sink.
  • Floor under bar is damaged.
  • There are large holes in the wall and ceiling in the dry storage room in the basement.
