The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/17/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Christie’s Restaurant was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 4 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

Unapproved pest control (DDVP – Dichlorvos) strip found on floor next to the ice machine.
Remove from facility. Contact facility’s exterminator for additional treatment if required.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 07/17/2020
1. Rodent droppings found in a glue trap.
Discard trap and contact facility’s exterminator for additional monitoring and/or treatment.

2. Screening on back door is in poor condition (torn from door frame). Replace screening to provide adequate protection against pest/vector entry.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 07/17/2020

1. Door gaskets on prep unit, closest to ice cream dip freezer, are unclean with food debris and liquid residue.

2. Fan covers in walk-in cooler contain an accumulation of grime.

Detail clean affected areas and maintain cleanliness.  New Violation. To be Corrected By: 07/31/2020
