The Allegheny County Health Department conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 1/6/2021. During this inspection a total of 6 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Egg flat found stored above sliced tomatoes inside of the walk-in cooler.
  • Slicer / slicer blade guard has a build up of old food debris.
  • Biofilm found accumulating inside of the kitchen 2 door low cooler
  • Biofilm found accumulating on the walls inside of the walk in cooler.
  • Cook line equipment (fryers, oven, grill etc) are food splattered / greasy / accumulating debris. Clean and maintain.
  • Hood system is greasy.
  • A Certified food safety manager was not present during the inspection.
  • Uncovered food found in the kitchen 2-door stand up cooler.
  • Single service items found stored on the floor in the basement dry storage room.
  • Home style microwave found in facility.
  • Basement is cluttered. Clean and maintain.
