The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/14/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Hatboro’s TNT Diner was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found and include one or more violations determined to be food borne illness risk factors.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Facility lacking a current MCOPH CFSM. Facility has 10 business days to submit reciprocity application or submit proof of registration in an approved food safety course. Facility has full time employee with current food handlers certification and will apply immediately.

    Rodent-like droppings observed on floor in several areas throughout facility. Have a licensed pest control operator service facility and provide pest control report to fax or email provided within 10 business days. Facility provided a copy of last pest control report dated 7/8/2020. Pest control report stated treatment of target pest.

    Dead Roach like insects observed on glue boards. Have a licensed pest control operator service facility and provide pest control report to fax or email provided within 10 business days. Facility provided a copy of last pest control report dated 7/8/2020. Pest control report stated treatment of target pests.
