The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture  conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 6/30/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Jack’s by the Tracks Tavern was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 5 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • No towels or reminder sign at kitchen hand sink.
  • Interior of Frigidaire freezer is in poor repair – liner is missing and exposed light bulb is hanging.
  • Food facility inspection indicates evidence of rodent-like droppings in bar area near beer taps and on counter. Small amount under kitchen hand wash sink.
  • The handwash sink located in the men’s restroom does not have hot water.
  • Plumbing system not maintained in good repair – observed bucket under men’s restroom hand wash sink due to leak.
