The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/9/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations MOD Pizza was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
There is no food safety manager certified by this Department (CFSM) on duty as required. A CFSM must be on duty at all times the facility is open and/or food is being prepared. A completed application(SA-71)for CFSM, or proof of enrollment in an approved safety class must be submitted to the Department. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 07/16/2020 |
Food employee was observed wearing face covering improperly, with nose exposed. All face coverings must fully cover nose and mouth. If employee cannot fully wear a cloth face covering, a plastic face shield can be used. Must monitor employees use of face coverings to ensure they are wearing them properly. New Violation. Facility has opened bags of products, such as sausage and pepperoni that are not date marked. All items, once opened, must be labeled with the date, and only held for a maximum of 7 days. Must label all items after opening with date. Repeat Violation. To be Corrected By: 07/09/2020 |
