The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/14/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Snap Pizza was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 7 violations were found and include one or more violations determined to be food borne illness risk factors.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Walk-in refrigerator not holding temp at 41 degrees or below(all PHF have been voluntarily discarded) provide inventory of discarded food items. The facility is currently repairing unit. Send all repair reports to inspector. The facility may not use unit until working properly.

  • Air gaps at bottom of back door.

  • Rodent-like droppings observed in facility. Facility has 10 business days to provide proof of next professional pest control treatment to MCOPH

  • Fly-like insects observed in the facility. Facility has 10 business days to provide proof of next professional pest control treatment to MCOPH

  • Dust build-up on ceiling vents front counter area.

  • Door gasket on walk-in refrigerator unclean.

  • Lacking light shield or shatterproof bulb back room and walk-in refrigerator.
