The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 4/2/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Bonefish Grill was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 6 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Disposable salad dressing container found in dressing bin within prep cooler. A cleanable, handled utensil must be used to dispense this ready-to-eat product.
Container was removed during inspection. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. - Stainless steel wares, designated as clean, were found to be unclean with food residue. Affected items were removed to the ware washing area. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
- 1. Numerous dead and alive roaches were found in glue bait traps below the bar 3-compartment sink.
2. Numerous fruit flies were observed in and around the mop sink area.
Remove filled bait traps and replace with clean and dated.
Contact facility’s exterminator for additional monitoring and/or treatment. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 04/02/2020 - Insulation, from pipes in ceiling of the walk-in cooler, is peeling and hanging above food product below.
Remove affected material to prevent contamination and replace as needed. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 04/02/2020 - Wheels of equipment contain an accumulation of grease.
Clean and maintain. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 04/16/2020 - Drain line below handwash sink at the mechanical dishwasher, is leaking.
7 Shut-off valves were turned off to prevent use until repair is complete. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. - Shelving in Traulsen lowboy is beginning to rust. Replace.
- Clean ground around d wood storage area in rear of restaurant.
