The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/13/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Luca Pizza was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

Employee observed not wearing mask. As per the orders of the Secretary of Health Rachel Levine and Governor Wolf, employees must wear masks or face shields covering mouth and nose at all times.    New Violation.  
Open employee drink container observed on food prep surface.
A food employee may drink from a closed beverage container if the container is handled to prevent contamination of the following:
(i) The employee’s hands.
(ii) The container.
(iii) Exposed food; clean equipment, utensils and linens; and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.  
Rodent droppings seen on basement steps. Insect activity evident on glue trap behind desk. Continue to inform pest control company of findings immediately and treat accordingly. Up-to-date log present.  New Violation.
