The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on December 17, 2019. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Marokko Moroccan and Mediterranean Cuisine was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 4 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Chemical sanitizing dish machine not recording proper sanitation levels. Facility may not use unit until repaired and given written permission from MCOPH. Send completion work order stating chlorine concentration to MCOPH.

  • Mouse like droppings observed on shelf under POS system. Clean and sanitize area. Facility has 10 business days to provide proof of next professional pest control treatment to MCOPH.

  • Tape lining hood system at wall.

  • Paint chipping at wall next to small prep unit.
