The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/8/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the New Super Wok also known as Lucky New Super Wok was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

Food service employees are not washing their hands when required. Employee was observed putting on a used glove (from inside of a container on top of raw chicken), and handling the chicken, placing it into the fryer. She then removed the glove with her ungloved hand and returned the soiled, used glove to the container with the raw chicken. She did not then wash her hands.
Employees must remove and discard these gloves after first use, These are single use only gloves. Employees must wash their hands between glove changes and between operations.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
Spare ribs (a time/temperature controlled for safety food) were removed from the broiler to be packed up for a customer, before anyone took the temperature of these ribs. They are being reheated and therefore must be heated till all parts of them are at least 165°F. They were returned to the broiler to be cooked/reheated further. Be sure to monitor internal temperatures of TCS foods being cooked, stored or reheated, to ensure proper temperatures requirements are met during these processes.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
Dispensing utensils are being stored improperly between use. They are placed in a container that has water in it. Store utensils in a clean, dry location between use. Rewash this dispensing spoon prior to using it again.  New Violation.
