The Bucks County Department of Health conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 6/29/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Penndel Bowling Center was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 5 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
No paper towels were available at the hand wash sink in the bar area. Each handwashing sink shall be provided with a supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder or bar soap, individual, disposable towels, a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel or a heated-air hand drying device. Cheese sauce in hold holding dispenser has been kept inside throughout numerous on/off cycles of unit. Once opened, cheese sauce is a time/temperature control for safety food and should be handled appropriately. Unit specifications require: (1) sauce is heated to 165°F and may be kept in the unit while on and hot held 24 hours/day OR (2) sauce must be heated to 165°F prior to being placed in the unit after powered on and cooled to 70°F in 2 hours and 41°F or below in 4 hours and end of daily use.
