The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on January 3, 2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the Randazzo’s Pizza in Huntingdon Valley was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 5 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Interior of ice chute at soda dispenser in customer areas with mold like accumulation. Have part service and cleaned.
  • Facility observed with Roach and ant spray on site. Only a licensed pest control operator may dispense pesticides within a food establishment.
  • Wire racks in walkin refrig with debris and rusting. Clean and seal.
  • Door gasket to walk in refrigerator torn. Replace.
  • Dried grease accumulation observed on ceiling and walls of hood system. Filters were clean and free of grease. Service is schd for 1/6/2020 for entire hood cleaning.
