The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Public Health (MCOPH) conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on November 15, 2019. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Primo Hoagies in Glenside was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 3 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
- Dead insects trapped in light shields in main kitchen and ware wash room. Remove.
- 6 times repeat, rodent like droppings observed on floor throughout facility along baseboards and under equipment. Facility must clean and sanitize area and have licensed pest control within the next 10 business days. Email work order. Facility may face possible legal actions for a multiple time repeat violation.
- Food handler lacking hair/beard restraint, 5 times repeat violation.
