The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 7/8/2020 As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Kentucky Fried Chicken was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 5 violations were found.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Garbage needed to be emptied from receptacles within store. Full to the top
  • Electrical outlet cover needs to be screwed back into wall at drive thru.
  • Food in cooler, not labeled or dated or secured tightly in cooler.
  • Kitchen floor needed to be mopped and cleaned vigorously. Night crew did not complete task.
  • One employee was observed not wearing a mask, manager and myself instructed her to put it on.
