The Bucks County Health Department conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 1/27/21. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Wilson’s Pub was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Pennsylvania’s food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 6 violations were found.
The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:
Upon arrival, no employees were wearing a face covering at the bar or in the kitchen. Staff must wear a face covering at all times. All staff provided a mask. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. |
Upon arrival, tables were touching the bar area. This is not permitted. Tables must not line up to the bar and also must create large enough space for staff and patrons to move. Staff began moving tables. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. |
Raw eggs are being stored directly over ready to eat foods. Always store raw TCS products under ready to eat foods. Employee corrected immediately. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. |
The slicer blade is unclean with old food debris build-up. Break the slicer down and ensure it is fully cleaned and sanitized. The soda holsters at the bar are unclean with build up. Clean and maintain. New Violation. To be Corrected By: 01/27/2021 |
Deli meats and soft cheeses are not being date marked as required. Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, TCS food prepared and held in a food facility for more than 24 hours shall be clearly marked to be sold or discarded within 7 days or the manufacturers use by date whichever comes first. Observed meat thawing out at room temperature. Advised staff this is not an approved method for thawing foods. Foods must be thawed as follows: Employee placed the meat in the refrigerator to thaw. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. |
